Independent study is an important skill at A-level. All A-level science students can take part in a free Educake competition to encourage and reward practice outside the classroom.
Important: if you are not an existing A-level science customer please get in touch for free access for the duration of the competition. Email support@educake.co.uk with your school name and mention ‘a-level competition’.
When? From 19th October until 15th November 2026.
Who can enter? Any A-level student at a school that subscribes or is trialling Educake for A-level Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
How do students participate? All students need to do is answer as many questions as possible in Study and Quiz Yourself or Revision Wizard areas of Educake.
How do they win? Students who answer the most questions (the top 10%) will be entered into a prize draw. Winners will be able to pick one of the following:
A graphical calculator suitable for A-level science/maths
or
Beats Solo 4 Headphones.
Each winning school will also win a bag of Educake goodies for their class.
